|
|
Main Features:
- Accurate heavy carboxylic acids volatility prediction
- Fatty acid / Water solubility prediction
- Fluid Packages for Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Coconut Oil, Soybean Oil, Tall Oil and Tallow
- Available with VMGSim
FATTY++ is a property package designed to provide accurate physical property predictions for the design and simulation of the distillation of animal and vegetable fatty acids and related compounds encountered in the industry such as methanol, caustic solutions, esters, tocopherols, tocotrienols and carothenes.
FATTY++ has all the necessary methods to accurately predict the volatility of heavy fatty acids at vacuum distillation down to pressures around 1 mmHg. Enthalpies of vaporization, solubility in water and other physical properties are calculated. In addition FATTY++ has 2,500+ specially calculated interaction parameters for VLE calculations determined by Virtual Materials, ensuring quality thermodynamic modeling.
If you are using VMGSim, FATTY++ can be used as a standard property package without any special settings.
FATTY++ also include fluid packages with preselected compounds for the modeling of diverse animal and vegetable oils such as tallow, soybean oil, palm oil and coconut oil.

 |
Virtual Materials property packages are extensively validated using our own flash algorithm and carefully selected experimental data.
Carefully selected vapor pressure data ensures accurate results at vacuum distillation.
|

|
You can use FATTY++ to locate optimum side-draw locations when performing separations using vacuum distillation.
