VMGSim provides complete flexibility for generating reports and documenting results. There are many levels of details possible in the reporting.
1. VMGSim PFD – VMGSim features the best process flow diagram package in the business with Visio2003™. Not only does Visio2003™ serve as the engine for our graphical user input, it is a powerful reporting device. In addition to the graphical flowsheet units and streams, users can use dropdown menus and the mouse to place simulation input data, streams, properties etc. on the pfd displays and print hard copies or store these in a variety of graphical formats.
2. Report Export Option – The report export option allows you to define a report format, the information to be displayed in the report, the extent of this information and the destination of the report. The report may be sent to an Excel operation in the simulation case or it may be written in html format and retrieved for viewing or printing in the browser of your choice.
3. The Excel operation may be added to the flowsheet and utilized for custom reporting. A click of the mouse with paste the connections of the model data into the spreadsheet in your personal format and these connections will be updated in the spreadsheet automatically from the model when changes to the model are made. Excel provides limitless formatting and multiple workbooks to allow custom reports to be permanently built into your VMGSim cases and always kept up to date and in exactly the format your prefer.
4. It is worth noting that all numeric data and tables in VMGSim are copy/paste enabled for transfer to other windows programs for display.
5. Material Stream output – the material stream output is a preconfigured workbook style of output that is a fast and clean means of printing all of your streams out rapidly in a neat format.
6. Unit operation print – every unit operation has a basic print command that will allow you to quickly create a summary output of a particular unit or stream in your model.
